Open source software has taken the Networking and Service Provider industries by storm. As a result, many individuals and organizations have had their working environments severely disrupted. In this talk we’ll explain the best practices for dealing with this new world order from how to evaluate open source projects to engaging with them, and how to influence them. We’ll also talk about emerging trends in these open source communities and the likely issues and opportunities that will result.
