Traditional 3GPP tunnel/bearer based connection-oriented architecture will not scale in cost effective way in 5G with 10’s billions of devices. This presentation describes how SDN and simple IP protocol in combination can be used to provide common mobility network management across many wireless technologies, e.g. LTE, Wi-Fi, any future 5G access technologies with higher degree of flexibility and scalability. It provides efficient solution for the large scale of IoTs.
