What's New and Hot in Beryllium - Colin Dixon, ODP

OpenDaylight's fourth release, Beryllium, just came out and it has a variety of new features ranging from full high-availability for core components including OpenFlow, OVSDB, NETCONF, and network virtualization to support for hardware VTEPs to replacing custom authentication and authorization with more extensible, off-the-shelf support from Apache Shiro. Beyond that the release had 17 new projects ranging from existing projects breaking into more modular parts to more support projects to more user-friendly developer tooling. In this talk Colin Dixon (chair of the OpenDaylight TSC) will cover highlights from the most recent release as well as a brief overview of the the architecture and major features from previous releases.
