Moving the networking industry into a virtualized world has caused the need for SDN controllers to become more critical to support the movement and allow creating VNFs in an automated fashion. The integration of OpenStack with these evolving SDN controllers needs to be fluid for the industry to realize the NFV vision. This talk will go through the use cases, like L3 VPNs that challenge the networking community to provide an end-to-end solution for using OpenStack Neutron as integration point. We will highlight the possibilities and show an alternative approach along with a demo to address the difficulties of fulfilling the growing NFV needs.
