ONOS (Open Network Operating System) is an open-source platform for developing network control applications and solutions designed to meet the demands of service provider networks. This talk will provide the audience with an overview of ONOS architecture, its guiding tenets and will cover the general approaches of ONOS towards device/protocol independence, distributed state management and providing applications with high-level control abstractions.
