Service providers are facing the problems of becoming a connectivity provider where most of the value will go to the OTT. Service providers today are looking for new revenue sources and new services they can offer to up sale and increase the ARPU. In this talk we will highlight how to harness NFV technology and deploy new revenue generating Value Added Services (VAS). By providing these services from within the network, the service providers will gain competitive advantage compared to the OTT. We will deep dive into a use case of providing Desktop as a Service (DaaS) services using NFV and SDN technologies and highlight the benefits and concept of such a service.
