Business to business (B2B) services is poised for exponential growth fueled by NFV and SDN. Service providers will be delivering more products with increased service velocity on open source platforms. Enabling customers to self-select and manage their services. B2B use cases that will be compelling the adoption of NFV/SDN by service providers will be shared.

OpenDaylight is a broad, industry-wide effort to build a common platform for SDN and NFV solutions, whether in the data center, enterprise, or service provider. In this talk Brian Freeman (Software Architect/Systems Engineer at AT&T) and Colin (OpenDaylight TSC Chair and Distinguished Engineer) will focus on how OpenDaylight is meeting the needs of service providers and what OpenDaylight features are of particular use to the service provider environment, how and why. Among other features, they will discuss support for existing networking resources, BGP, PCEP, NETCONF, high-availability, and scale-out performance. Further they will talk about the OpenDaylight Advisory Group, which exists to provide feedback from real OpenDaylight users into the broader community and has heavy representation from service providers as well as other users.
