Thomas Vachuska is the Chief Architect for ONOS at ON.Lab and an active contributor to the ONOS codebase. He has a solid background in software architecture of distributed systems and modular object-oriented design. Prior to joining ON.Lab, Thomas was a software architect at HP where, throughout his 27-year tenure, he designed and helped develop distributed software systems for a variety of domains spanning from manufacturing control, network & storage management, data de-duplication, and software defined networking. He is an avid proponent of agile and test-driven software development processes and is an unceasing advocate for elegance through simplicity. Thomas studied mathematics and physics at Charles University in Prague and at California State University, Sacramento.
